This elegant series of designer fixtures sort of took my breath when I first saw them – the Caboche series from Patricia Urquiola captures a unique feel and look in whatever space you’re putting the fixtures. Polymethylmetacrylate globes compose the bead structure of the fixture, with a matte white shade allowing diffuse light to project and illuminate the globes.
The company selling the lamp, Foscarini, offers a table lamp, wall lamp, suspended lamp, and a floor lamp – all of which seem to be works of art on their own. I love fixtures that also add implied texture to surfaces.
