Someone needs to give that boy some sunglasses. The reflective coating in some animal eyes helps concentrate the light so that it can better stimulate the receptors in the eye. While cats (and other animals) have a rich supply of this reflective component, people have this too. That’s why a camera flash often results in the glowing red visible in the pupils. This young boy just has a bit more reflectivity than most Asians.
